Australian maritime security arrangements mean that anyone working at, or accessing, certain areas at the facilities of Ports Victoria must apply for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).

An MSIC must be displayed if working unmonitored or unescorted within a maritime security zone. Without one, people will not be able to work unmonitored or unescorted within those zones.

For more information, visit the Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs website for information about the MSIC scheme and a list of issuing bodies.
